2) Spray your carpets and furniture with a spray that has ability to kill all the life-cycle of fleas.

3) Always wash the beddings of cats after every 2 or 3 days in bleach and hot water.

4) Wash down all the hard surfaces where the cats sleep on which may include tabletop, bookshelves and desks.

5) Bathe the cat while using flea shampoos that helps in removing the adult fleas.

The process can take at least three months to completely eradicate the fleas in your house and break the life-cycle. These things are very important for you if want to prevent yourself as well as your pet from hazardous effect of flea bites.
